What we hold, and why

Who is responsible

Logicosmo is responsible for the personal data described here. For anything on this page — a question, a correction, or a request to delete everything — write to info@logicosmo.com and a person will answer.

What we collect

We do not buy data about you, and we do not combine what you give us with anything from anywhere else. When a purchase completes, we send Meta a hashed version of your email, your IP address, your browser's user-agent and, when one is present, the click identifier from the advertisement, so we can measure whether our advertising led to that purchase. We never send Meta your birth details, your name, your phone number or your questions.

• Your name and email address.
• Your birth date, birth time and birth place.
• Anything you choose to write in the questions field when you order.
• The reading we write for you.
• A record of the payment: the amount, the currency, the country the price was set for, and the identifiers Stripe gives us. Card numbers never reach us.
• The referral code, if you arrived through someone's link.
• If you asked for the free picture of your sky: your email, the birth details you entered on the front page, and which pictures were sent.
• If you arrived through a Meta advertisement: your IP address, your browser's user-agent, and the click identifier from that advertisement.

Why we hold it

Your birth details, your name and your email exist for one reason: to write your reading and send it to you. That is the contract between us — under the LGPD, article 7, item V, and under the GDPR, article 6(1)(b).

The payment record is kept separately because Brazilian tax and accounting law requires a seller to keep proof of sales. That obligation outlives the reading.

Birth details are treated as sensitive

Where and when you were born sits close enough to religious and philosophical conviction that we treat it as sensitive data rather than argue about whether it strictly is. In practice that means it is stored under restricted access, it is never used to decide what marketing you are shown, and it is never shared with anyone outside the processors named below.

The free picture of your sky

The orrery on the front page is free to explore and asks nothing of you.

If you want to keep the picture, we ask for your email. It is required for one reason: it is where the gift is sent.

We keep your email, the date, time and place you typed into the orrery, and which pictures we sent. We use that to draw and send the picture you asked for, and to be able to help if you write to us about it later.

The picture itself shows the date and the time of that sky, and in the computer format the approximate coordinates of the place. It travels attached to the email, and the service that delivers the message carries it like any other attachment.

Hearing from us is a separate choice. The box about news, new releases and offers is optional and never ticked for you. Leaving it alone changes nothing: the gift is sent either way. If you do tick it, every email from us after that carries a link to leave the list, and you can leave whenever you like.

We keep a record of your choices (what you accepted, in which language, and when), so we can show the decision was yours.

If you later create a Logicosmo account with the same email, we link the two records rather than keep you twice.

To stop the form being used to email people who never asked, we record minimal technical details of the request, used only to limit abuse.

You can ask us to delete this data at any time, as explained below in this policy.

Who else processes it

These five are the whole list. Stripe, Supabase, Resend and Vercel are each bound to process the data only on our instruction, and each stores it on servers that may be outside Brazil and outside the European Economic Area. Where that transfer needs a legal basis, it rests on the standard contractual clauses those providers publish. Meta receives only the single measurement event described above; how it handles and how long it keeps that data is governed by Meta's own applicable terms and policies rather than by us.

Cookies, and what we measure

This site sets three first-party cookies:

• A referral cookie, if you deliberately arrive through or enter a partner's code. It lasts only for that shopping journey, so the discount and credit end when you arrive independently. Your browser cannot read or change it.
• A sign-in cookie, if you have an account. It is what keeps you signed in.
• A Meta click cookie, only when you arrive through a Meta advertisement. It lasts up to seven days and records only the click identifier, so a purchase that follows that click can be recognised as having come from it. Your browser cannot read or change it.

There is nothing else on your browser: no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker, no session recorder, no third-party script of any kind. The typeface is delivered from this site rather than a font network, so no outside company learns that you visited just by loading a page.

The measurement described above happens on our server after a purchase, not in your browser. If you would rather we did not use your click identifier or send that measurement, write to info@logicosmo.com and we will not — this changes nothing about your purchase or your reading.

How long we keep it

Your birth details and your reading stay for as long as you have an account, so you can come back to them. Ask us to delete them and they go.

The payment record is kept for five years, which is the period Brazilian law requires a seller to be able to produce proof of a sale. It holds the amount and the identifiers — not your birth details.

If you asked for the free picture of your sky and never bought anything, we keep that data for up to 24 months after your most recent request. Each new request restarts the period. If you become a customer, the customer periods described above apply instead.

If you have asked not to receive news, after that data is deleted we keep only the minimal record needed to respect that choice. This record does not keep your email in readable form.

Your rights

Under the LGPD, article 18, and under the GDPR, you can ask us to:

• Confirm whether we hold anything about you, and show you what.
• Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete it, other than the payment record we are legally obliged to keep.
• Give you a copy in a portable form.
• Tell you who we have shared it with — the answer is the five services above.
• Withdraw a consent you previously gave.
• Object to processing we carry out based on our legitimate interest — such as the advertising measurement described above.

Write to info@logicosmo.com. We answer within fifteen days, which is the deadline the LGPD sets, and usually much sooner. We will not ask you to justify the request.

If you are in Brazil and we handle it badly, you can complain to the ANPD. If you are in Europe, to your national data protection authority.

Children

This is not sold to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect anything about a child. If you believe we have, write to us and it will be removed.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and we email anyone with an account. We will not quietly widen what we do with your data and leave you to notice.
